Blank Banshee 0’s “vaportrap” production fashion helped popularize vaporwave in the 2010s. The album’s influence has since been attributed to a shift in the route of the style. Due to Vektroid’s use of samples taken from the 1980s and Vape Shop nineties, the EP is considered to be an early example of the vaporwave style. The album consists of largely 1980s and Vape Juices nineteen nineties sourced samples layered over original beats, instrumentation and vocals. Songs written by L.A. Many songs on the album feature vocal and lyrical contributions by Cormorant, the stage identify accredited to Curtis Ferguson. In 2010 Patrick Driscoll and Curtis “Cormorant” Ferguson started performing live as Blank Banshees (previously Shinjuku MAD) which consisted of “predominantly instrumental” compositions.
