EastEnders star appeared in great spirits as he enjoyed a boozy night out with The Inbetweeners’ on Saturday.
The pair are old friends, with Danny appearing in James’ At Home With The Buckleys channel.
James, who played Jay in the comedy, shared a snap of himself cosying up to pal Danny under a blanket, as the two looked worse for wear with beer bottles in hand.
The boys both dressed casually, with Danny sporting a grey t-shirt and James wore a white Fred Perry top for the evening.
James shared the photo with his 273k Instagram followers and wrote: ‘ How’s your weekend going?’

Danny previously appeared in James’ vlog where he hinted that he’d get James a job on EastEnders in 2021.
When asked about the possibility of working together, Danny replied: ‘Get you a day?I’ll get you a month. You’re having a month, that’s it’.
Danny then revealed the job would be six days a week to which James joked: ‘I didn’t become an actor to work for a living.’
James previously tole : ‘Danny is one of the funniest people I know.I don’t think he knows how funny he is and he’s got time for everybody. It’s strange because I think people get confused between him and the characters he’s played.
‘The irony is people go, ‘He’s such a bad actor. He just plays himself.He thinks he’s such a tough guy.’ He doesn’t think he’s tough at all. That must be frustrating for him but he’s brilliant. I love him to bits.’
It comes after it was revealed Danny had secret feuds with EastEnders co-stars Jessie Wallace and Steve McFadden, according to reports.
The actor departed the soap in a dramatic Christmas Day episode at the tail end of 2022, and it’s now been claimed that there were several actors he didn’t get on well with during his nine-yeah stint on Albert Square.
In an appearance on Saturday’s Jonathan Ross Show, Danny admitted that he ‘doesn’t love’ all of his former colleagues and that were were a few he ‘won’t miss.’
It’s now thought that he could have been referring to Jessie, who plays Kat Slater on the show, and Steve, who portrays her current love interest Phil Mitchell.
According to The Mirror , Danny’s strong personality didn’t bode well with Jessie’s equally as dominating nature – with the pair often getting their wires crossed on set.

The publication reported that he was once overheard declaring his ‘hatred’ for the actress, getting into hot water.
A source alleged: ‘Danny and Jessie are both very strong personalities and, while they never let it get in the way of their work, they did not get on.
Adding that there was ‘a lot of tension’ behind the scenes, the source continued: ‘Anyone who worked with them both will be clear he had her in mind when he made his recent remarks’.
Elsewhere, The Sun have reported that he also butted heads with Steve, a veteran of the soap who has played Phil Mitchell for more than 30 years.
The insider explained that the clash began as soon as Danny joined EastEnders in 2013, with Steve appearing on the soap since 1990.
Said to be an ‘open secret’, the pair allegedly rarely worked with one another on set.
‘Steve hated that bosses gave Mick (Danny) the Queen Vic, which spent so many years being at the heart of the Mitchell family,’ another source told The Sun.
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Danny, Jessie and Steve.An EastEnders spokesperson declined to comment.
In 2017, a feud between Steve and Danny was first reported, with the latter allegedly threatening to punch the former during a heated row on set.
The altercation was said to have created a tense environment for the rest of the cast.But denying the claims, a BBC spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘As previously stated, Danny is an extremely popular member of cast and respected by everyone on the show.
Adding fuel to the fire, Danny admitted that it wasn’t all sunshine and roses on the EastEnders set during an appearance on the Jonathan Ross Show this week.
The actor’s final scenes as Mick Carter aired on Christmas Day, and saw the Queen Vic landlord mysteriously lost at sea after plunging into the water to save his estranged wife Linda.
