The challenges surrounding the management of massive quantities of waste soil on both brownfield and building initiatives might be complex. CIRIA has recognised these difficulties and commissioned this new analysis. This new venture offers CIRIA the opportunity to take the lead in clarifying steering and approaches for building, infrastructure and land growth sectors in the UK and should generate environmental, compliance and business advantages. With the Surroundings Company stepping away from the manufacturing of business steerage this can only be welcomed.”
